got this MAG game, and a bannco mouse controller when i was really bad and couldnt move

mouse:
bannco mouse is not great on PS3, dont get me wrong the mouse is far easier than the sixaxis controller for aiming BUT when you are used to the PC pixel perfect accuracy then anything less is shite, i updated the firmware, i tweaked it, i played around with everything, i followed every guide on bannco's site, and it still felt like i was going diagonal up some stairs, 4 pixels right, 4up, 4right, 4up, and not diagonal pixel by pixel

it also has movement deadzone of about 4 pixels, which feels like mouse lag, but its not, if you are waiting to shoot or come around corner with gun up and see someone, you need to move it 4 pixels for it to register a movement on screen, which is shit for headshots or any form of aiming, i had to make a circle type movement and then hope i landed 4 pixels near the baddie was standing/running then shoot, then swirl and do it again

now here is the kicker, it is not the mouse, on pc it is pixel perfect, as accurate and fast as my G9, but on PS3 it is pixel pants

however you wont feel any problems on BC2/CoD4 or any other FPS due to the autoaiming that they use to help the controllers, MAG doesnt have autoaim, so you see it straigthaway

and even though its wireless it is lightning fast, no lag at all on pc, once it is pixel perfect on PS3 then i would say it would be fantastic

Good game, bit like farcry2 and mohaa all rolled up, big-ish maps, however the saying that you are playing against 256 players didnt feel real to me, you rank up and then get to play against more players, first its 64, then 128, then 256, however it always feels the same, always feels about maybe 40 people on the server

what they do is make it so the game only codes a certain part of the map/players that you are in, not what all the others are in, but you are never playing with/against 64.128/256 players, just who is in your map view

this is great idea in a way, less dedi servers to farm out, but there is never a time when you will see 128 players against 128 players on screen at same time
now in any war there is never ,say, 6million goodies against 6 million baddies fighting against each other on one beach/frontier etc, just platoons against each other, which make up the 6million, so in a way its realistic, however it is a selling ploy to say 256 on same map when you will only ever see 20-25 of the baddies, so its not a part of the game in reality

but with thats said its a good game, disappointed about the mouse mainly
